Creating your Tapbit account is the first step into the world of cryptocurrency trading, but sometimes the activation process hits a snag. If you’ve clicked “send verification code” and are staring at an empty inbox, don’t worry. This guide walks you through the common reasons and simple solutions.
Reasons for not receiving account activation email
There are several common reasons why you might not see the activation email in your inbox. First, it could be due to a temporary network or system delay. After you click “send”, it takes a short time for our system to generate and dispatch the email, and occasional internet congestion may cause further delivery latency. Second, the most common culprit is often email filtering. Your email service provider may automatically classify automated messages as potential spam and redirect them to your junk or spam folder. Finally, it’s important to verify that the email address you entered during registration is correct and currently in use. A simple typo or an old email address can result in not receiving the verification message.
What to do if you didn’t not receive the email
STEP 1: Wait a moment and check again
Our registration verification code is valid for ten minutes. There’s often no need to immediately request a new one. We strongly recommend that you:
- Wait for 2-5 minutes and then refresh your inbox. This often resolves minor network delays.
- Avoid clicking “Send” repeatedly in quick succession, as this might cause further delays.
STEP 2: Ensure the email address associated with your account is correct.
You can do this by visiting the [Security Center] in your account settings. Then, check the [Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)]section—the email address displayed there is where our system sends verification codes.

STEP 3: Check your spam or junk mail folder
This is the most frequent solution. Your email client is trying to protect you, but sometimes it gets it wrong.
- Open your email service (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo).
- Directly navigate to the “Spam,” “Junk,” or “Promotions” tab.
- Look for an email from Tapbit or noreply@tapbit.com.
If you find it, mark it as “Not Spam” to ensure future emails from us arrive in your primary inbox
STEP 4: Verify your registered email address
This is a critical check. A small mistake can prevent access to your account.
- Return to the Tapbit registration page.
- Carefully review the email address you entered. Ensure there are no typos (e.g., gmial.com instead of gmail.com).
- Are you checking the same email inbox that you used to register? Confirm you are logged into the correct email account.
